Kathleen Joy Payton Obituary

It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Kathleen Joy Payton (Big Rapids, Michigan), who passed away on September 22, 2025, at the age of 71, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Clifford Atwood and Lillian Atwood (Dunn); and her son Ralph. She is survived by: her husband Edward "Ed" Payton; her children, Jody Zuern (Robert), Micky Payton, Heath Payton (Tara) and Penny Myers (Bill); her grandchildren, Londyn, Haidyn, Atlas, Bradlee (Stephanie), Christina, Hannah and Blake; and her brothers, Denny Atwood (Robin), Gary Atwood (Nida), Tim Atwood (Toni) and Doug Atwood (Sue). She is also survived by many nieces, nephews, cherished cousins and friends.
