We bid farewell to Larry David Patrick of Big Rapids, Michigan, whose journey of life gracefully concluded on December 2, 2025 at the age of 92. Larry touched countless lives with warmth and kindness, leaving behind cherished memories that will forever echo in hearts. He was predeceased by: his parents, John Patrick and Myrtle Patrick (Taylor); his son Dale; and his sisters, Joy Bishop and Barbara Patrick.
He is survived by: his wife Joyce Wells; his children, David Patrick (Suzanne), Marilou Clary (David) and Lynda Thorp (David); his daughter-in-law Diane Patrick; his brother John Patrick (Jeanne); his grandchildren, Alan Patrick (Jenn), Dawn Patrick, Chad Patrick, Kristi King (Quentin), Eric Patrick (Michelle), Heather Prestly (Brian) and Alivia Thorp; and his great grandchildren, Shyann, Kayden, Erica, Aidyn, Kiera, Charlie, Oliver and Kamdyn.
Visitation was held on Thursday, December 4th 2025 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM and on Friday, December 5th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM. A funeral service was held on Friday, December 5th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the Et Fellowship Christian Reformed Church (407 Perry Ave, Big Rapids, MI 49307).
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the American Legion in Big Rapids.
