Lenora Yvonne Thon Obituary

With solemn reverence, we commemorate Lenora Yvonne Thon of Big Rapids, Michigan, born in Lansing, Michigan, whose life came to an end on September 18, 2025 at the age of 88, leaving behind cherished memories. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.

Though Lenora may no longer walk beside us, her memory will forever be enshrined in the fabric of the lives of those Lenora touched, a beacon of light guiding us through the darkness. In her absence, her spirit lives on — a gentle whisper in the breeze, a ray of sunlight on a cloudy day, a reminder that love knows no boundaries.

She was predeceased by: her parents, Harold Mero and Leona Mero (Richard). She is survived by: her children, Pamela Engle (Charles Replogle) and Michael Thon (Carolyn); her grandchildren, Nicholas Thon, Ashley Thon and Hailee Engle; and her siblings, Charlotte Kettler and Larry Mero. She is also survived by several nieces and nephews.

Visitation was held on Saturday, September 27th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Et Mohnke Janowicz Funeral Home (128 S Warren Ave, Big Rapids, MI 49307). A funeral service was held on Saturday, September 27th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
