The family announces the passing of Marc Allen Coon of Big Rapids, Michigan on October 22, 2026. Marc, born on September 2, 1963, was part of many shared moments and relationships throughout life. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.
Marc will be remembered for the time spent with loved ones and the moments that brought joy to those around him. Friends and family will honor Marc by reflecting on shared memories and the positive influence he had in their lives. Though Marc is no longer present, the bonds he created and the experiences shared will endure. Marc’s memory will continue to be a source of comfort for all who knew him.
He is survived by: his parents, Richard Coon and Roverta Coon (Barnes); and his brothers, David Coon (Cindi) and Peter Coon. He is also survived by animals, and dedication to his family.
Visitation will be held on Thursday, November 5th 2026 from 4:00 PM to 6:00 PM and on Friday, November 6th 2026 at 10:00 AM. A memorial service will be held on Friday, November 6th 2026 at 11:00 AM at the St. Peter's Lutheran Church (408 W Bellevue St, Big Rapids, MI 49307).
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions in his name may be made to St. Peter's Lutheran Church and School.
