With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Shirley Hawkins of Big Rapids, Michigan, born in Marshall, Michigan, who passed away on March 26, 2024 at the age of 88. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of Shirley Hawkins to pay them a last tribute.

She was predeceased by : her parents, Max Robinson and Lillian Robinson (Emeringer); her husband Gerald A. Hawkins; her son Gerald Jr. "Chip"; and her brother Ronald Robinson.

She is survived by : her children, Pamela Philipp (Jeffrey) of Kalamazoo, Mark Hawkins (Lori-Ann) of Chesterfield, Shelly Leonhard (David) and Kimberly Horvath (John) of Big Rapids; her grandchildren, Megan, Melissa (Jonn), Adam, Kendra, April, Cooper, Ryan (Bethany), Kyle, Haley of John, Kayla and Morgan; and her sister-in-law Lynda Repins of Portage. She is also survived by several nieces, nephews, extended family, and friends.

A graveside service will be held on Saturday, May 11th 2024 at 11:00 AM at the Mt. Ever-Rest Memorial Park South (3941 S Westnedge Ave, Kalamazoo, MI 49008).
