It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Thomas Robert O'Neil (Big Rapids, Michigan), who passed away on March 5, 2026, at the age of 81, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, John O'Neil and Mary O'Neil (Buchanan); and his brother Gary O'Neil. He is survived by: his wife Katherine Moore; his children, Robert O'Neil (Patti), David O'Neil (Barb), Shari O'Neil and Diana Cook (Steve); his grandchildren, Megan, Justin, Abby (Travis), Johnny, Jake, Emily, Jordan and Katie; and his siblings, Ken O'Neil (Marti), Linda Vredenburg and Bonnie Thebo. He is also survived by several nieces, nephews, great-nieces, and great-nephews.

Memorial contributions in his name may be made to the Mecosta Township Fire Department or the Green Country Church in Morley, MI.
