He was predeceased by: his parents, William F. Duncanson and Evelyn M. Duncanson; his children, William J. Duncanson Jr., Michael Duncanson and Lisa M. Fata; and his former wife Ruth M. Duncanson (Kurz) of Owensboro, KY.
He is survived by: his daughters, Jean Duncanson Mocek (Rick Sipes), Bev Duncanson, Cathy Cole (Bob), Janet Sweetsir (Geoff) and Jill Respecki (Mike); his wife Barbara Ann; his children-in-law, Jerry Fata and Barbara Duncanson; his grandchildren, Angie (Dan), Paige (James), Ally, Tyler (Brigid), Danielle (Zack), Jim (Megan), Elana, Joe, Benjamin, Alec and Monica; his great grandchildren, Devin (Amanda), Jordan (Veronica), Jack, Lilah, Lowen, Cameron WIllaim and Sofia Jade; and his great great grandchildren, Brody and Nico.
Visitation will be held on Monday, November 9th 2026 from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Daggett Gilbert Funeral Homes - BIG Rapids (13985 Northland Dr, Big Rapids, MI 49307). A funeral Mass will be held on Tuesday, November 10th 2026 at 11:00 AM at the St. Mary's Catholic Church (1009 Marion Ave, Big Rapids, MI 49307).
