He was predeceased by: his parents, G. Robert "Bob" Thayer and Rosalie Ann Thayer (Keller); and his sister-in-law Cecilia. He is survived by: his wife Shawn Marie Iwen; his sons, Darrell Travis Thayer (Candis) and Kyle Thayer (Janessa); his grandchildren, Matheson, Charles, Arianna and Remington; his pets, Chuy and Bluey; his brothers, Craig Thayer, Christopher Thayer (Maria), David Thayer, Robert Thayer (Lisa) and Roger Thayer (Elisabeth); and his brother-in-law Ermin Sallmen. He is also survived by nieces, nephews, and dear friends.
