It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Deborah Kae Scharrer of Birch Run, Michigan, who passed away on December 7, 2025, at the age of 72, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was loved and cherished by many people including: her parents, Richard Grieve (Dorothy) and Wanda Grieve (Cole); her sons, Dustin Scharrer (Rachel) and Darin Scharrer (Mandi); her sisters, Tabatha Grieve (James Hogan) and Sherrie Grieve (Giuseppe); her siblings' children, Brandon Grieve (Tiffany), Julian Grieve and Christina Grieve; her great-nephews, Jacob and Kaiden Grieve; and her sister Pam Grieve.
A celebration of life will be held on Saturday, January 17th 2026 from 11:00 AM to 3:00 PM at the Fenton Community Center (150 S Leroy St, Fenton, MI 48430).
Debbie's final act of kindness was to give the gift of life to others through organ donation, she donated bone and tissue through the Gift of Life Michigan.
