He was predeceased by: his parents, Herman Engelhart and Elsie Engelhart (Veitengruber); and his siblings, Dorothy Gey (Roland), Mildred Hecht (Ralph), Herman Engelhart (Emma), Leroy Engelhart (Shirley), Delbert Engelhart (Joann), Gloria Comer (Clair) and Frederick Engelhart (Carol).
He is survived by: his wife Janet Engelhart; his children, Connie Lafferty (Thomas) and Larry Engelhart (Connie); his grandchildren, Jeff McComb (Nicole), Kelsey Friend (Craig), Kyle Lafferty, Emily Engelhart (Marcel Pully) and Alyssa Engelhart; and his great grandchildren, Lucas McComb, Chase McComb and Arthur Friend. He is also survived by Many nieces, nephews, extended family, and friends.
The military honors was held on Tuesday, June 3rd 2025 at 10:30 AM at the Great Lakes National Cemetery (4200 Belford Rd, Holly, MI 48442).
