He was predeceased by: his parents, Harold Schrubbe and Lorraine Schrubbe (Lauber); his wife Marcia Schrubbe; and his son Fredric Schrubbe. He is survived by: his sons, John "Jack" Schrubbe (Cheri) and Marc Schrubbe (Megan); his grandchildren, Shaun Schrubbe, Cheyenne Hernandez (Enrique), Gary Schrubbe, Grace Schrubbe and Kathryn Schrubbe; and his brothers, Wayne Schrubbe (Karen), Ray Schrubbe (Linda) and Greg Schrubbe (Mary). He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
