He is survived by: his mother Priscilla Nicol; his wife Lois; his children, Sarah Brescia (Christopher), Ashley Smart (Kevin) and Allison Nicol; his grandsons, Caleb and Seth; and his siblings, Stephen Nicol, Timothy Nicol, Rebecca Wright (Thomas) and Elizabeth Nicol.

Visitation will be held on Monday, October 26th 2026 from 10:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the Cederberg Funeral Home of Frankenmuth (590 N Franklin St, Frankenmuth, MI 48734). A funeral service will be held on Monday, October 26th 2026 at 12:00 PM at the same location. A burial will be held on Monday, October 26th 2026 at the Pine Grove Cemetery.
