With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Phyllis Avery of Birch Run, Michigan, born in Frankenmuth, Michigan, who passed away on March 9, 2024 at the age of 87. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Arno L. Fischer and Elsie A. Fischer (Daenzer); her husband Robert C. Avery; her sister Eunice Childers (Victor); and her siblings-in-law, Gary Payne, Lillie Stafford (Clinton) and Cleo Avery.
She is survived by: her daughters, Roxanne Bierlein (Mike), Bonnie O'Connell (John) and Susan Avery; her grandchildren, Heidi Bierlein, Adam Bierlein (Sheila), Andy O'Connell (Cassie), Kaitlin O'Connell, Jeff Raymond (Alicia), Crystal McQueen (Adam) and Lillie Fry (Christian); and her siblings, Ken Fischer (Nancy), Rhea Bartels (Jim) and Lori Payne. She is also survived by five great-grandchildren.
