He was predeceased by: his parents, Hugh McLean and Jane McLean (Rogers); his wife Virginia Curtis; his former wife Dorothy Dankert; the mother of his children Virginia McLean; his grandson James Terrian; his stepchildren, Demmond Dankert, Jr. and Ruth Schlader; and his siblings, Verna, Lena, Essie, Alta, Ethel, Marian, Hugh and Elmer.
He is survived by: his children, Carol Benway (David), Joan Stroik (William), Wayne McLean (Kimberly), Madiline Taylor (Mark) and Diane Terrian (Patrick); and his stepsons, William Schlader and Robert Dankert (Michelle). He is also survived by 14 Grandchildren; 4 Step Grandchildren; 32 Great-Grandchildren; 2 Step Great-Grandchildren; 7 Great-Great-Grandchildren.
