He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Irene Emmert and John J. Emmert, Sr.; his wife Nancy Emmert; and his children, Susan Ferris (Bill) and John J. Emmert, III (Amy). He was also cherished by numerous grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
