She was predeceased by: her parents, Charles Sutherland and Laura Sutherland (Trombley). She is survived by: her son Paul Smith (Deb); her brother Charles Sutherland, Jr.; her granddaughters, Deepa Hayes Smith, Natasha Sutherland Smith and Meghan Elizabeth Bashir; and her pets, Lily and Leo. She is also survived by several great-grandchildren.
