She was predeceased by: her parents, Kyle Otterbein and Virginia Otterbein. She is survived by: her husband John; her children, McKenzie Burns (Pat), JD (Molly) and Olivia DiPonio (Dominick); her grandchildren, Reese Burns, Colette Hess, Bennett Burns and Mila DiPonio; and her siblings, Marlen Borio (Ed), Keith Otterbein (Amy) and Cort Otterbein (Mimi). She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.

In lieu of flowers, the family welcomes memorial donations to University of Michigan Rogel Cancer Center. The family has chosen to send donations to University of Michigan Rogel Cancer Research Funds.
