He was predeceased by: his wife Beth Ruskin; his child Laurie Ruskin; his brother Herb Ruskin (late Barbara); and his parents, Sylvia Ruskin and Dr. Samuel Ruskin.
He is survived by: his children, Rick Ruskin (Julie), Carolyn Cohen, Karen Mendelson, Michael Mendelson (Beryl) and Linda Mendelson; and his grandchildren, Anna Mendelson, Ben Ruskin, Sam Ruskin, Lindsay Ruskin, Alec Cohen, Drew Cohen and Carly Cohen.
