Shirley Broder Obituary
We are sad to announce that on September 29, 2025, at the age of 96, Shirley Broder of Birmingham, Michigan passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her former husband Joseph Broder; and her parents, Hyman Greenbaum and Fanny Greenbaum. She is survived by: her children, Elaine Davidson (late John), Judy Goldsmith (Mark) and Suzi Benaderet (Avie); her grandchildren, Michael Hootner, Stephanie, Jared Rosenbaum, Max Goldsmith, Michelle Benaderet, Gaby, Solomon Benaderet, Orly, Mark Rocklin, Daniel Benaderet, Sophie and Joseph Benaderet; her great grandchildren, Emelia Kiley, Lexi Rosenbaum, Emily Rosenbaum, Lielle Benaderet, Ayalah Benaderet, David Rocklin, Raya Rocklin and Adi Rocklin; her sisters, Ruth Katz and Eleanor Weinstein (Marvin); her family Detroit; her husband Joe; and her daughter Southfield. She is also survived by first cousins, nieces, nephews, and many great-nieces and great-nephews.
A funeral service will be held on Tuesday, September 30th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the Hebrew Memorial Chapel (26640 Greenfield Rd, Oak Park, MI 48237). For information about Shiva, please contact the family.
