He was predeceased by: his parents, Josephine "Odell" McDaniel and James "Stephen" McDaniel; and his sister Jane. He is survived by: his wife Susan; his children, Eric (Pamela), David (Andrea), Peter (Janelle), Lisa and Christina; and his grandchildren, Ryan, Sophia, Raquel, Devin, Daryn, Jin, Miriam and Aaron. He is also survived by his niece and nephews, and friends.
