He was predeceased by: his parents, Peter Kairunas and Stella Kairunas (Yargus); and his siblings, Paul and Joanne. He is survived by: his wife Jo; his sons, Bernerd and Douglas (Danielle); his grandchildren, Kathryn, Daymian and Drake; and his sister-in-law Linda Kairunas. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews and special friends.
