The family announces the passing of Randal Alan Smith of Blanchard, Michigan on September 29, 2026. Randal, born on April 8, 1953, was part of many shared moments and relationships throughout life. He was predeceased by: his parents, Jimmie Smith and Ruth Smith (Sandbrook); his great grandchild Emersyn Smith; and his nephew Mike Walkington. He is survived by: his sons, Brandon Smith (Leslie) and Ryan Smith; his siblings, Tim Smith (Diane), Tom Smith (Gloria), Lynn Smith (Mari) and Debbie Walkington (Rick); his grandchildren, Joseph Smith, Landon Smith, Brenden Smith and Helena Clark; and his great grandchild Freya Smith.
A memorial service will be held on Sunday, October 4th 2026 at 2:00 PM at the American Legion Hall (8803 SW County Line Rd, Blanchard, MI 49310).
In lieu of flowers, the family kindly requests that memorial contributions be directed to the Blanchard Millpond.
