He was predeceased by: his parents, Boyd Eicher and Eleanora Sting Eicher; and his brother Gary. He is survived by: his wife Kathryn; his children, David (Sheila) and Laurie Sweet (Paul); his grandchildren, Jason Sweet, Kristen Millington (Ryan), Megan Sweet, Mary Eicher (Bryan Bromley) and Emily Wells (Antheny); and his sister Ardra Schaaf (Glen). He is also survived by many loving cousins, nieces, and nephews.
A memorial gathering will be held on Saturday, September 26th 2026 from 9:30 AM to 11:00 AM at the Beautiful Savior Lutheran Church (5631 N Adams Rd, Bloomfield Hills, MI 48304). A funeral service will be held on Saturday, September 26th 2026 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the Bloomfield Historical Society or Beautiful Savior Lutheran Church.
