He was predeceased by: his parents, Wesley Hamburg and Hazel Hamburg; and his siblings, Glen (late Judy) and Jim (late Joyce). He is survived by: his wife Theresa; his children, Daniel and Kathleen (Stephen); his grandchildren, Chase (Chelsay), Kayla (Howard), Pierce (Delaney), Haley (Ethan) and Laine; his great grandchildren, John, Crew and Howard IV; his friend Patricia; his stepchildren, Larry, Janis (Chris) and David; and his grandchildren, Alyssa, Christopher, Megan, Hanna and Emma.
Visitation will be held on Thursday, October 16th 2025 from 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the A. J. Desmond & Sons (Vasu, Rodgers & Connell Chapel) (32515 Woodward Ave, Royal Oak, MI 48073). A funeral Mass will be held on Friday, October 17th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the St. Owen Catholic Church (6869 Franklin Rd, Bloomfield Twp, MI 48301).
