He was predeceased by: his siblings, Alexander Grosinger (late Norma) and Leslie Garbon (Clara Garbon Radnoti); his parents, Emanual Grosinger and Ilona Grosinger; and his parents-in-law, George Kirstein and Sylvia Kirstein.

He is survived by: his wife Roberta Kirstein Grosinger; his children, Amy, Eric Grosinger, Kari and Eddie Alterman; his grandchildren, Ryan Grosinger, Samantha Grosinger, Bennett Grosinger, Noa Alterman and Adina Alterman; his siblings-in-law, Rita Paragas (Pedro), Ina Kirstein and Lawrence Kirstein; his nieces and nephews, Eva Shapiro (Ray), Ilona Fynke (Max), Mark Grosinger and Les Grosinger (Tracey); and his cousin Botond Nemeth (Karen). He is also survived by friends and companions.
