He was predeceased by: his parents, John Courter and Melba Olson Courter; and his brothers, Douglas and Patrick Courter. He is survived by: his spouse Mark Hodgson; his brother William Courter (Sharone); and his siblings-in-law, Andrew Hodgson, Mary Hale and Karen Hodgson. He is also survived by 12 nieces and nephews; and four great nieces and nephews.
