It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Kathleen Mielock of Bloomfield Hills, Michigan, born in Detroit, Michigan, who passed away on November 15, 2025, at the age of 95, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Patrick Clark and Catherine Clark (Stack); her husband Edward Mielock; and her siblings, Genevieve "Fran" Abraham, Thomas Clark and Rosemary Dermody.

She is survived by: her children, Denny (Patti Reid), Karen Heuer (Bob), Pat Deibert (Glenn), Mike, Maureen Hoste (Jim), Eddie, John, Jean Sanders (Doug) and Kathy Carroll (Dan); and her cousin Kitty Heinzman.

Visitation was held on Thursday, November 20th 2025 at 10:00 AM at the St. Owen Catholic Church (6869 Franklin Rd, Bloomfield Twp, MI 48301). A funeral Mass was held on Thursday, November 20th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location.

In lieu of flowers, memorial tributes may go to Christ Child Society (https://ccsdetroit.org), 502 N. Crooks Rd., Clawson, MI 48017.

“So sad to learn of Mrs. Mielock’s (as I knew her as a grade schooler and high schooler) passing but what a wonderful life she lived and incredible legacy she and Ed left in a beautiful and wonderful family. Kathy, in particular, my sympathy for you and your loss. I’m sorry. I wish you comfort. And I feel a beautiful memorial portrait or two in the making :). Tom Bartley”
