He was predeceased by: his spouse Beverly Blau Segal; his sister Myrna; his parents, Myrtle Segal and David Segal; and his parents-in-law, Mildred and Lawrence Blau.

He is survived by: his children, Carol Ziecik, Laura Segal and Dana Weinstein (Steven); his grandchildren, Lacey Jacobson Foon (Elliot), Cooper Ziecik, Jane Ziecik, Miles Weinstein and Leah Weinstein; his great grandchildren, Phoebe and Eloise Foon; his friend Glynda Beeman; and his sister-in-law Margaret "Peggy". He is also survived by family and friends—including doting former sons-in-law.

A funeral service was held on Monday, April 21st 2025 at 11:30 AM at the Temple Beth El (7400 Telegraph Rd, Bloomfield Hills, MI 48301). A shiva was held on Monday, April 21st 2025 from 3:00 PM to 8:00 PM at 1120 Woburn Green, Bloomfield Twp, MI 48302.
