Family and friends must say goodbye to their beloved Robert Leroy Pitt of Bloomfield Hills, Michigan, who passed away at the age of 93, on November 19, 2025. Though Robert may no longer walk beside us, his memory will forever be enshrined in the fabric of the lives of those Robert touched, a beacon of light guiding us through the darkness. In his absence, his spirit lives on — a gentle whisper in the breeze, a ray of sunlight on a cloudy day, a reminder that love knows no boundaries.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Ermil Pitt and Florence Pitt (Lowe); and his grandson Robert J. Pitt. He is survived by: his wife Joan Lang; his children, James Pitt and Molly Pitt; his grandson Craig Pitt (Nicole); and his great grandchildren, Cara and Alex Pitt. He is also survived by nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made in Robert's honor to St. John Lutheran Church and School.
