He was predeceased by: his brother Daniel Goldsmith; and his parents, Irving Goldsmith and Miriam Goldsmith. He is survived by: his wife Sherry Goldsmith; his children, Susan Goldsmith, Ellen Goldsmith (Sam Levitt), Mark Ruda (late Katlyn) and Michael Ruda; his grandchildren, Harrison, Davis Finney, Jacob, Zach, Rachel Levitt and Benjamin Ruda; his sister-in-law Judy Goldsmith; and his nieces and nephews, Meryl Goldsmith and Lindsey Goldsmith-Weiss (Mark Weiss).
