He was loved and cherished by many people including: his wife Kathryn; his children, Emily Richards (Ira), Casey Branham, Julia Branham, Halla Blackcloud (Dennis Stack), Wayne Bermoy, Elena Bermoy and Daniel Garrity; his grandchildren, Silas, Evelyn, Arlo, Sebastian and Eliana; his close friends, Hunter and Poppy; his sisters, Elizabeth Churchill Bates and Rebecca LaMear (William); his nieces and nephews, Peter LaMear, Alex LaMear, Madeline LaMear, Andrew Churchill, Dakota Churchill and Alexa Michaud (Riley); and his sister-in-law Ann Bissell.
A memorial gathering will be held on Saturday, November 7th 2026 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Christ Church (470 Church Rd, Bloomfield Hills, MI 48304). A memorial service will be held on Saturday, November 7th 2026 at 11:00 AM at the same location. His adventures took him to Morocco and Portugal, Patagonia, and across the United States on a camper trip during the COVID pandemic.
