He was predeceased by: his parents, Virginia Perry and Milford Meyers; his stepfather Gordon Perry; and his brothers, Dale and Milford Meyers (Skip).
He is survived by: his children, Melissa Walantyn (Daniel) of South Haven and Michael of Kalamazoo; his siblings, Bruce Meyers, Diane Hyde (David) of Bloomingdale and Sue Graham of Campbellsville, Kentucky.; and his grandchildren, Benjamin Walantyn of Bangor, Casey Walantyn of Bangor, Thomas Walantyn of Covert, Quentin Walantyn of Bangor, Charles Walantyn of Lansing and Jennica of South Haven. He is also survived by three great-grandsons and one great-granddaughter on the way; and many nieces and nephews.
