She was predeceased by: her sister Larridee Grace Barnhardt. She is survived by: her parents, Larry Barnhardt and Mary Barnhardt (Laubach); her husband John Matern Jr.; her children, Holly Woll (Nathan), Andrew Matern (Samantha), Katelynn Huynh (Nathanael) and Grace Raab (Robert); her grandchildren, Finneas, Maisie Woll, Emily, Adam, Abigail Huynh, Isaac, Amelia, Hope and Vincent Raab; and her brothers, Daniel Barnhardt (Barbara) and Thomas Barnhardt.
Visitation will be held on Wednesday, October 7th 2026 from 12:00 PM to 1:00 PM at the Anchor Baptist Church (71925 M-43, South Haven, MI 49090). A funeral service will be held on Wednesday, October 7th 2026 at 1:00 PM at the same location. A burial will be held on Wednesday, October 7th 2026 at 2:00 PM at the Robinson Cemetery.
