He is survived by: his son Tony Weigand of Iron River; and his siblings, Edward McGeshick (Tamie) of Vanderbilt, MI, John Ambrose (Kathy) of Ironwood, MI, Theresa Carter (Bill) of Ishpeming, MI and Eve Tappa (Allen) of Iron River. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews, extended family, and friends.
Visitation will be held on Friday, October 2nd 2026 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Jacobs Funeral Home (405 W Cayuga St, Iron River, MI 49935). A funeral service will be held on Friday, October 2nd 2026 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
