He was predeceased by: his parents, James Barkley and Angie Barkley (Sumner); and his siblings, Ronald Barkley, Shirley Barkley, Lyle Barkley, Duane Bakley and Richard Barkley.
He is survived by: his wife Loraine C. Barkley of Charlevoix, Michigan; his son Arthur Bakrley, Jr. of Indiana; his sister Angie Proctor of Tennessee; and his grandchildren, Calista and Ethan Barkley of Indiana. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
