He was predeceased by : his parents, Frank Martin and Irene Fulton Shaler; his daughter Kathy; and his siblings, Russell (Yvonne Shaler), Pat (Scoop Upton), George (Ellen Shaler) and Sally (Ed Pasque).
He is survived by : his wife Ann Carson; his children, Frank A (Connie), David (Deanna), Kevin and Karen (John); his grandchildren, Michelle Seelye (Stephen), Frank David Shaler, Becky Kahly (Rylan), Matthew, Garrett Shaler, Jennifer Snyder (Greg), Valerie Shaler, Natalie (Joe Lattimore) and Connor Lindsay; his great grandchildren, Aurora, Annabelle, Ella Seelye, David, Zander, Cannon Shaler, Jonah, Simon, Abram Kahly, Autumn, Peter Snyder, Mason Shaler, Melody, Grayson Ritch and Madeline Sweeney; and his siblings-in-law, Dr. Roy Hills, Jerry Collins and Becky Carson. He is also survived by many cousins, nieces, and nephews.
In lieu of flowers, family suggests donations to Boyne Waterfront Field of Dreams in his honor.
