She was predeceased by : her parents, George Corneillie and Marion Corneillie (Klein); her husband John Alger of Mt. Clemens; her brother Gene Corneillie; her in-laws, Gary, Barbara Alger, Larry and Judy Alger; her niece Kelly Long; and her great-niece Emma Corneillie.
She is survived by : her children, Amy Mansfield (Michael) of Boyne Falls, Dean Alger (Sharon) of Boyne City and Andrew Alger (Jessica) of Goshen, Indiana.; and her nieces and nephews, Kim Evans (Michael), Gregory Alger (Sherry), Jason Alger (Michelle), Josh Alger (Christina), Justine Olszewski (Michael), Karen Smith, Todd Corneillie (Kris), Amber Corneillie and Sarah Cook (Kevin). She is also survived by 19 great-nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers the family suggests donations, in Georgene's memory, to the Boyne City High School Drama Department, the BCHS Band, or Room 102-the children's food/supply pantry, c/o Boyne City Public Schools, 321 S. Park St., Boyne City, MI 49712.
