She was predeceased by: her parents, Harry Dixon and Henrietta Dixon (Gillis); and her husband Ronald F. Massey. She is survived by: her sons, Ronald F. H. Massey (Linda), Randolph Massey (Tina) and Robert Massey; her grandchildren, Christopher Massey (Sara), Joseph Wilson (Lisa), Blair Massey, Aitana Massey and Myah Massey; her great grandchildren, Chase Massey, Blake Massey and Alexis Petrie; and her siblings, Christine Hosmer, Colleen Nessen (Ron), Bruce Dixon, Bill Dixon and Eddie Dixon. She is also survived by many other family members, nieces, nephews, and cousins.
In lieu of flowers, those charitable donations in Darlene's memory can be made to Traverse City Munson Healthcare Hospice or The Brook of Boyne City.
