John Barden Obituary

With heavy hearts, we announce the death of John Barden of Boyne City, Michigan, born in Petoskey, Michigan, who passed away on July 31, 2020. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by : his parents, Aldwyn Barden and Regina Barden (Sallar); his son Thomas Barden; and his sister Barbara Monacell. He is survived by : his wife Glory Maragret Flodquist (Flodquist); his children, Michael Barden (Pamela) of St. Joseph, MI, Paul Barden (Yumi) of Boyne City, MI, Barbara Pruetz (Mark) of Lake Orion, MI and Amy Christensen (Robert) of East Jordan, Mi; his grandchildren, Bethany Glyde (Chad), Jeffery Pruetz (Angela), Michael Barden, Nicholas Barden, Asuka Barden, Kyle Cameron (Mike) and Jordan Barden; his great grandchildren, Brady, Austin, Oliver, Abby, Rowe and Nina; and his sister Carol Huffman.

Due to restrictions in place because of the COVID 19 Virus, the family will be having a private service and burial.

In memory of Ed, please make donations to the "Down Syndrome Diagnosis Network", in his later years Ed found much enjoyment with his great grandchildren, who brought beauty to this word.
