He is survived by: his wife Donna Jean; his grandchildren, Jacob Portmann (Taylor), Judith Rector, Nicholas Gerard, Clara Rector and Lucas Gerard; his sister Deborah Lou Rector; and his pets, George Goodlaski, Hank Portmann, Maggie Rector, Xena Gerard, Blue, Lady and Buddy. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
