He was predeceased by: his parents, James Sheldon and Lottie Rebecca Harris Sr. (Hebert); his siblings, James "Buck" Harris Jr., Beverly Marshall and William "Bill" Harris; and his nephew Nathan Harris.

He is survived by: his wife Annette Rae Fredricks (Morris); his children, Robert "Bob" "Beaner" Fredricks of Texas, Michelle "Missy" Miller (Kevin) of Pierport, Daisy Fredricks (Darien Ripple) of Rockford, Rebecca Kloote (Scott) of Coopersville and Courtney Harris Barz (Kirk) of Onekama; his grandchildren, Madison Miller, Hogan Miller, Andrew Barz, Chloe Barz, Leif Ripple, Lainey Kloote and Harper Harris Kloote; and his siblings, Ernest "Ernie" Harris (Anna), Marie Harris (Devon Smith) and Robert "Bob" Harris. He is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, and friends.

A funeral service will be held on Friday, November 6th 2026 at 11:00 AM at the Terwilliger Funeral Home (9188 Osmo St, Kaleva, MI 49645).
