With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Barbara Marie Brody (Bridgeport, Michigan), who passed away on February 2, 2026 at the age of 81. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Esther Gerskin (Theer) and Robert Gerskin; her husband Clarence "Duke" Brody; her in-laws, Pearl and Earl Brody; and her cousin Millie Kiebel Andros.
She is survived by: her son James Brody (Kelley Schultheiss); her grandson Nicholas Brody; her daughter Carolyn Everett (Tellis); her grandchildren, Keefe, Kobe and Lane Siler; her siblings, John Gerskin (Linda) and Lori Neumeyer (James); Craig Kaplenski (Jane) and Mark Kaplenski (Cindy). She is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
