He was predeceased by : his parents, Harold Reimer and Helen Reimer (Gaertner); his wife Sandy Reimer; and his siblings, Gertrude Bierlein, Geraldine Fahrenbruch, Lucinda Adams, Donald Reimer and Janet Munson.

He is survived by : his children, Debbie Medearis (Darwin), Barb Reimer (Sandy Smith), Marty Reimer (Steve Rodriguez) and Scott Reimer (Debbie); his grandchildren, Kyle, Ryan Medearis, Caleb, Megan and Mackenzie Reimer; and also, Erin and Samantha.
