Though Janie Ann may no longer walk beside us, her memory will forever be enshrined in the fabric of the lives of those Janie Ann touched, a beacon of light guiding us through the darkness. In her absence, her spirit lives on — a gentle whisper in the breeze, a ray of sunlight on a cloudy day, a reminder that love knows no boundaries.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Louis Rasmussen and Mildred Rasmussen (Skidmore); and her grandfather Lake Store. She is survived by: her close friend Barbara Hinkleman; her former husband James "Jim" Staggers; her granddaughter Amber Marie Shaw; her daughter Michelle M. Peterson of Sawyer, MI; her granddaughter Amber Paulson of Niles, MI; and her brother Roderick L. Rasmussen of Bridgman, MI..
