He is survived by: his wife Patricia (De Leeuw); his children, Amiee Clay (Andrew), Kelly Gast and Alex Gast (Abby); his stepchildren, David Reisenbichler (Emma), Jennifer Breckenridge (Jamie), Jason Reisenbichler (Cecilia) and Eric Herrman; his grandchildren, Ezra, Eliza, Colt, Takiya, David Jr., Bianca, Parker, Sydney, Karis, Josiah, Kyla, Kiptyn, Jaysea, Shyleigh, Mylan, Abigail, Ellie and Carter; his cousin James "Jimmy" Gast (Mary); and his sister-in-law Cindy Gast.
