We are sad to announce that, on January 3, 2021, at the age of 82, John Gilman of Bridgman, Michigan, born in New Troy, Michigan passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his parents, Elmer Gilman and Eleanor Gilman (Atkinson). He is survived by: his wife Shirley Goodline; his daughters, Pam Schmaltz (Steve) of Baroda and Julie Gilman of Baroda; his grandchildren, Adam Schmaltz (Andrea) and Samantha Randall (Ryan); his great grandchildren, Aislinn, Kai, Gabriel and Joy; his brother Richard Gilman (Jean) of Pensacola, Florida; and his brother-in-law Johnny Lentz Goodline.

Memorial contributions may be made to Trinity Lutheran Church, 5791 Sawyer Road, Sawyer, MI 49125.
