He was predeceased by: his parents, Johann Pieler and Theresa Pieler (Schmidt); and his brothers, Otto Pieler and Herman Pieler. He is survived by: his wife Wilma Fuchs; his daughter Christine Dudeck; and his grandson Phillip Dudeck.
