With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Loren Essig of Bridgman, Michigan, born in Saint Joseph, Michigan, who passed away on August 21, 2021 at the age of 74. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his parents, Herman Essig and Esther Essig (Nehring); and his siblings, Ronald Essig, Marvin Essig, Eunice D'Agostino and Alan Essig.

He is survived by: his wife Carol Natzke; his children, Clint Essig (Melissa) and Aran Essig (Eva); his grandchildren, Lindsay Essig, Logan Essig and Austin Essig; and his siblings, Herman "Sonny" Essig Jr., Marva Lower and Karen Gorske (Dick).

Memorial contributions may be given to Bridgman American Legion, Post 331 4241 Legion Street, Bridgman or Berrien County Cancer Service, 3900 Hollywood Road, St. Joseph or Immanuel Lutheran Church.
