With profound sadness, we say goodbye to Verne John Rambo of Bridgman, Michigan, whose vibrant spirit touched the lives of many. Verne left this world on October 22, 2025 at the age of 84, leaving a void in the lives of so many people. He was predeceased by: his parents, Joseph Rambo and Mary Rambo (Rudnick); and his siblings, Dr. Joseph Rambo, Rene Rambo and Joan "Dolly" Krieger.
He is survived by: his wife Marilyn Nitz; his children, Lisa Nemitz (Rod), Mary Mojsiejenko (Ralf), Verne Rambo (Lynn) and Amy Knowlton (Jeff); his grandchildren, Abbey Garrick (Jason), Zac Nemitz, Allie Mojsiejenko, Parker Mojsiejenko (Dani), Cooper Mojsiejenko, Lauren Rambo, Brooke Rambo (Isaac Stiebeling), Nick Knowlton and Mackenzie "Gracie" Knowlton; his great grandchildren, Jackson Garrick, Max Garrick, Jay Mojsiejenko and Nora Mojsiejenko; and his siblings-in-law, Evelyn Rambo and Mike Nitz (Lisa). He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held on Tuesday, October 28th 2025 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Pike Funeral and Cremation Services (9191 Red Arrow Hwy, Bridgman, MI 49106). A Mass of Christian burial will be held on Wednesday, October 29th 2025 at 10:00 AM at the Our Lady Queen of Peace Catholic Church (3903 Lake St, Bridgman, MI 49106).
