He was predeceased by: his parents, Joseph Rambo and Mary Rambo (Rudnick); and his siblings, Dr. Joseph Rambo, Rene Rambo and Joan "Dolly" Krieger.
He is survived by: his wife Marilyn Nitz; his children, Lisa Nemitz (Rod), Mary Mojsiejenko (Ralf), Verne Rambo (Lynn) and Amy Knowlton (Jeff); his grandchildren, Abbey Garrick (Jason), Zac Nemitz, Allie Mojsiejenko, Parker Mojsiejenko (Dani), Cooper Mojsiejenko, Lauren Rambo, Brooke Rambo (Isaac Stiebeling), Nick Knowlton and Mackenzie "Gracie" Knowlton; his great grandchildren, Jackson Garrick, Max Garrick, Jay Mojsiejenko and Nora Mojsiejenko; and his siblings-in-law, Evelyn Rambo and Mike Nitz (Lisa). He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
