She was predeceased by: her sisters, Mary Ann and Sophia Savas. She is survived by: her husband Dr. L. Edmond Eary, Jr.; her children, Dr. Janet F. Eary, L. Edmond Eary and Athena A. Reister (Walter, Jr.); and her grandchildren, Ann Nabar, Scott Reister, Athena Perez, Kate Eary, Lydia Eary, Rosemary Cotter and Emmaline Cotter.
She generously supported the Sparta Education Foundation, University of Michigan LS&A school, and the Sparta United Methodist Church. In recognition of her many contributions to the community and their lasting impact, she was honored as a Notable in 2023 by the Sparta Historical Society.
